The Westfield Parking Garage is a 7-story parking structure and basement with loading dock. It is part of a larger mall expansion that is being built while the mall is still fully operational for business. This has created a number of challenges with integration of this new structure into the existing systems of the mall. By identifying these early on in the project, we have been able to work with the mall personnel to develop a detailed method of procedure for connection to these systems that provides the least impact. In addition, this coordination has allowed us to find an appropriate window of time that doesn’t affect mall patrons or businesses.
