The Holland America project included a new optional standby system consisting of 2 new generators, Redundant 150 KW UPS systems and associated distribution throughout the building providing 100% uninterrupted power to maintain services to the building server room, IDF rooms and Emergency Resource Center. This system also provides power to maintain services for the rest of the building allowing 24/7 operations during extended power outages. Prime Electric’s scope of work included a complete cold shell TI with new building wide lighting, lighting Control, mechanical and branch power systems, as well as fire alarm, network cabling, access control, CCTV systems and AV infrastructure. This fast track project had a very aggressive 6 month schedule requiring larger than normal crew levels as work was performed on all floors simultaneously. Prime was able to accommodate the schedule requirements through upfront pre-planning and utilization of our prefabrication facility.
